An evening to learn about St. Padre Pio, September 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Our Lady of the Lake Family Life Center

Mission

To create a greater sense of commuity within the Parish and enable us as neighbors who live close by each other and belong to the same Parish family to serve and support each other when a need arises.

Our Parish Neighbor Objectives

• Belong: Create a sense of community to share and build friendships
• Grow: Develop and deepen our faith
• Serve and Support: Help each other in Christ’s name

What Do Parish Neighbors Do?

• Share names and phone numbers with each other
• Create a phone tree or text tree to call and check on each other from time to time
• Prepare and deliver meals to a family with a newbaby, someone who’s sick, grieving or incapacitated
• Take someone to church that needs a ride
• Share recommendations for contractors andsuppliers (plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc.)
• Get together for coffee and dessert
• Volunteer together for a project
• Attend a church gathering together - one or our Parish Neighborhood Socials,  the Lentenmeal, the Seder meal, or the Prime Rib Dinner

Get Involved, Become a Parish Neighborhood Contact

Take an active role in your parish neighborhood. Become  someone others in your neighborhood can reach out to and depend upon to organize the support that may be needed. Partner with another neighbor to colead neighborhood activites every so often.
